Good solution for big-cube or hard-starting motors as long as 4ga battery cables are used to reduce voltage losses and the battery is at least 300CCA
Design utilizes a permanent-magnet motor coupled to the OEM-style offset gear reduction design that generates high output and torque in a small package
Starter is no larger than the H-D 1.2kW unit and fits into all Big Twin applications
The issue with any permanent-magnet motor is that the in-rush currents are higher until the starter armature begins to spin. (It is harder on a battery than a coil wound motor.)
It is not a good solution for a bar-hop bike because there is a chance the charging system will not keep the battery fully charged
